Philadelphia’s highly anticipated new attraction, One Liberty Observation Deck, opens November 28 at 10 a.m. The Deck crowns One Liberty Place, the Helmut Jahn–designed skyscraper rising 57 floors and 883 feet above street level. As the city’s tallest standing attraction, the observatory provides sweeping, panoramic views of Philadelphia, the Delaware River and parts of New Jersey.
Guests arrive at street level and take an escalator to the second floor to purchase tickets and begin their visit. From there an express elevator whisks visitors to the 57th floor in approximately 75 seconds. The observation level features an open floor plan with floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing unobstructed 360-degree views across the region.
Interactive technology enhances the experience: six multilingual touchscreens let visitors discover information about Philadelphia’s neighborhoods, landmarks and history, while three themed Chair Zones present curated audio stories about the city’s culture, music and sports, narrated by well-known local Philadelphians.
Tickets are available both online and at the box office. Admission prices start at $14 for children and $19 for adults. The Deck will operate daily, 365 days a year, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and has a capacity of 275 guests at a time to ensure a comfortable visit.
The observation deck offers photographers and sightseers varied viewing opportunities throughout the day and into the evening, making it suitable for daytime sightseeing, sunset views and nighttime cityscapes. Visitors should plan ahead for peak hours and consider purchasing timed tickets online to secure preferred arrival times.
Accessibility features are available to accommodate visitors with mobility needs. Staff on site provide assistance and information to enhance the experience, including guidance on the interactive displays and suggested points of interest visible from the observation level.
Located in the heart of the city’s skyline, One Liberty Observation Deck adds a prominent destination for both locals and tourists seeking a comprehensive perspective of Philadelphia’s urban landscape and surrounding waterways.
