Finnair Expands Long-Haul Winter Routes for 2024/25 Season

Finnair has announced new long-haul routes and increased flight frequencies for the upcoming winter season.

From November 30 to March 18, Finnair will operate a twice-weekly service to Goa (GOI). The airline will also boost services to Delhi (DEL) to six flights per week.

“With the expected arrival of four new Airbus A350 aircraft in 2017, we are pressing ahead with our growth strategy,” said Juha Järvinen, chief commercial officer at Finnair. “These new aircraft will provide more travel options and greater flexibility for customers traveling between Asia and Europe via our Helsinki hub, which ensures short and smooth connections.”

Finnair will add seasonal services to several leisure destinations: twice-weekly flights to Havana (HAV) from December 1 to March 23; weekly flights to Puerto Vallarta (PVR) from November 19 to March 18; and weekly flights to Puerto Plata (POP) from November 30 to March 22.

In addition to new routes, Finnair is increasing frequencies on several Asian services for the winter season. Bangkok (BKK) will receive two additional weekly services, bringing the total to 16 flights per week. Singapore (SIN) will also gain two extra weekly flights, while Hong Kong (HKG) will see three additional weekly services, raising its year-round frequency to 10 flights per week.

The carrier recently expanded its codeshare partnership with Flybe, enabling customers to book Finnair flights from 11 U.K. airports and improving connectivity into Finnair’s Helsinki hub.
