Launched in 2016, the festival opens with Free Local Showcases: concerts and performances held every Friday, Saturday and Sunday throughout the event. These showcases highlight the region’s best musical and comedy talent across venues such as The Beacon Listening Room, Shanghai Nobby’s, Colonial Oak Music Park, Dog Rose Brewing Co. and the Lightner Museum.

On Sept. 16 the festival presents Lincolnville Porch Fest, staged in one of St. Augustine’s most culturally significant neighborhoods. Twenty-five local acts will perform across five porches from noon to 5 p.m., with an evening finale at Colonial Oak Music Park.

Live music paired with artisan shopping will be the focus of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Night Market on Sept. 19. From 5 to 9 p.m., attendees can enjoy a free event featuring food trucks and vendor booths offering handmade arts, crafts and other goods.

Key festival shows include the Sept. 22 Francis Field Showcase, featuring Grammy-winning rock duo The Black Keys and indie favorites Lord Huron. On Sept. 23, British folk-rock band Mumford & Sons will headline, with additional performances from artists such as Elle King, Amos Lee and S.G. Goodman.

Collectors and music fans can visit the St. Augustine Record Fair on Sept. 24 at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre to shop for limited-edition vinyl, 1990s-era tour posters, vintage band tees and other music memorabilia. From Sept. 29 through Oct. 1, the St. Augustine Songwriters Festival spotlights country songwriters performing at local venues, including Trade Winds Lounge, Prohibition Kitchen and St. Augustine Distillery.

The festival offers a mix of free community events and ticketed headline performances, making it a destination for both local residents and visitors seeking live music, local culture and artisan shopping along Florida’s Historic Coast.
