British Airways Launches New Winter Routes for 2026 Season

British Airways has added two new winter routes to link Heathrow with popular ski destinations in France and Italy. Starting December 2, the airline will operate a Heathrow (LHR)–Grenoble (GNB) service on Saturdays, with fares from £39 each way, excluding taxes.

In addition, a twice-weekly service between Heathrow and Turin (TRN) will begin for the winter season, with one-way fares starting at £40, excluding taxes.

These new services expand British Airways’ winter schedule alongside its existing seasonal flights from Gatwick (LGW) to key French and Italian ski hubs.

“Turin and Grenoble are within easy reach of some of the world’s best ski resorts, so we’re excited to be adding them to our Heathrow network,” said Adam Daniels, chief commercial officer at British Airways. “Our ultra-low fares will allow customers to book a round-trip to some of the hottest (and coolest) destinations in Europe for less than £40 each way, and they can also carry their skis free as part of their checked baggage allowance.”

Both routes are positioned to serve leisure travelers seeking convenient connections to mountain resorts. Grenoble provides direct access to the French Alps and its extensive ski areas, while Turin serves as a gateway to the Italian Alps and nearby ski valleys. Operating these services from Heathrow improves options for passengers flying from London and connections worldwide.

Passengers should note that the quoted fares exclude taxes and additional charges. Availability at the lowest prices is limited and subject to change, so travelers are advised to book early to secure the best deals. Standard baggage rules apply, and checked baggage allowances include sports equipment such as skis, subject to any applicable size or weight limits.

By adding these routes, British Airways aims to capture winter leisure demand and provide more choice for skiers and winter sports enthusiasts. The airline’s mix of low introductory fares and convenient schedules seeks to make short ski breaks from London more accessible during the winter season.
