JetBlue has teamed up with MLBAM, the interactive media and internet division of Major League Baseball, to offer passengers complimentary access to live-streaming MLB.TV during flights.
This partnership marks the first time live Regular Season baseball games will be available to stream at 35,000 feet, expanding JetBlue’s onboard entertainment lineup delivered over Fly-Fi, the airline’s free high-speed broadband service.
Passengers flying within the contiguous United States on Fly-Fi-equipped aircraft will receive free access to MLB.TV through JetBlue’s Fly-Fi Hub. Normally a subscription service, MLB.TV will be available in-flight without charge and will include access to more than 2,500 live and archived games on demand each season. Travelers can tune in to any regular season game featuring any of MLB’s 30 teams while in flight.
This offering reinforces JetBlue’s commitment to enhancing the passenger experience with robust, complimentary entertainment options and gives baseball fans the convenience of watching games during travel time without additional cost.
