The hotel features specialty rooms such as Chateau du Chien (Dog Castle) and Toile de Jouy, the latter offering its own private patio. Every canine guest is greeted with a welcome kit that includes homemade organic biscuits, filtered water, bowls and a bed sized for the dog. The on-site boutique carries custom pet products—collars with interchangeable designs, chef-made treats, and monogrammed beds and pillows—many created by designer Sue Milani.

Human guests can choose from 19 themed rooms that combine contemporary touches with elegant French antiques, creating a refined yet comfortable atmosphere. For additional pet care, nearby offerings include The Barking Lot grooming salon, which provides pampering services such as “pawdicures” using natural-ingredient products. Outdoor options include Los Altos Village Park, with walking paths and play areas suitable for dogs.

For personalized pet support, Los Altos resident and dog behaviorist Jimi Dixon is available for private lessons, dog walking and pet sitting. The hotel’s dog-friendly dining setup also allows pets to join their owners for complimentary breakfast on the sunny plaza adjacent to the Bistro, making it easy to relax and enjoy a meal together.
