Waldorf Astoria Orlando has announced a multi-phase reimagining of the property, scheduled to debut in December 2023, following last year’s comprehensive renovation of the hotel’s meeting and event spaces. The upcoming phase centers on guestrooms and suites, the lobby, select dining venues, the spa and the 18-hole golf course.
This renewal represents the most significant enhancement since the hotel opened in 2009 and will be completed in stages to limit disruption to guests.

“We are delighted to announce our plans for the complete makeover of Waldorf Astoria Orlando,” said Ryan Fitzgerald, general manager of Waldorf Astoria Orlando. “As a Waldorf Astoria property, our guests expect the highest level of luxury and service. We are committed to delivering an exceptional experience that exceeds expectations from the moment guests enter the hotel.”
Through June, the lobby will be refreshed to present a brighter, more open aesthetic while preserving the original Waldorf Astoria brand clock as a focal point. Parker Torres Design, the interior design firm commissioned for the guestrooms and suites, draws inspiration from the local flora and fauna of nearby Bonnet Creek. Design upgrades will include premium furnishings, custom millwork, wet bars with stocked minibars, bespoke bathroom vanities topped in natural stone, and motion-activated night lights for convenience and safety.

Lobby restaurant Peacock Alley will be transformed between June and August; its redesign will also herald the return of the hotel’s Royal Tea program. Bull & Bear, the signature steakhouse, is scheduled for an extensive refresh and will reopen as an elevated fine-dining destination with a refined menu. Adjacent to Peacock Alley, the new Waldorf Marketplace will open as an all-day, multifunctional space offering specialty coffee, baked goods, an expert chocolate program and grab-and-go options.
The spa will be reimagined as the Waldorf Spa, featuring Lemi Spa Dream tables for enhanced couples’ treatments and updated wellness offerings. On the greens, the Waldorf Astoria Golf Club will see renovations and improvements to each of its 18 holes to elevate the playing experience.
By phasing these updates, Waldorf Astoria Orlando aims to modernize its guest experience while maintaining the refined luxury and attentive service that define the brand.
