There’s a growing trend in hospitality for adults-only spaces, and Manchester Airport is following suit with a new luxury lounge in Terminal 3. The 1903 Lounge, named for the year the Wright brothers first flew, will open in April and enforce an 18+ entry policy.
Guests who book a space in the lounge will also receive a complimentary Fast Track security pass, easing their journey through the airport. The lounge accommodates up to 71 people and offers a range of amenities designed for comfort and convenience.
Visitors can enjoy complimentary hot and cold buffet options, self-serve soft drinks, tea and coffee, plus free alcoholic beverages. For business travelers, the lounge provides scanning, printing and fax facilities, making it easier to work before departure.
Entry can be booked in advance for £30, with a door price of £35. Passes became available for purchase on Feb. 1.
The adults-only policy aims to create a tranquil environment for travelers looking to relax or work without the distractions that can accompany family areas. By pairing the lounge with Fast Track access and a suite of amenities, Manchester Airport is targeting passengers who value privacy, efficiency and a higher level of service during their time in Terminal 3.
With limited seating for 71 guests, advance booking is recommended for those who want to secure access and take advantage of the reduced price and included Fast Track pass. The lounge’s opening continues a wider shift toward curated travel experiences that prioritize comfort and calm for adult travelers.
