Four Seasons Washington D.C. Reopens After Major Renovation

The Four Seasons Washington, D.C. has completed a $13 million renovation of its guest rooms, finishing in time for the city’s famed cherry blossom season.

Renovations were applied to 222 rooms and introduce nature-inspired interiors that reference the cherry blossom, which blooms in the capital each year from late March to early April. The updated palette includes shades of white, soft pink, peach and warm brown, colors chosen to honor the gift of cherry trees from Japan in 1912 and the spirit of friendship they symbolize.

Alongside the decorative updates, the hotel has implemented the Four Seasons Signature Sleep program. The initiative pairs calming décor with contemporary comfort features to promote better rest—aiming to help guests sleep more soundly and wake feeling refreshed during their stay in the city.

Located near Georgetown, the hotel timed the room unveiling to coincide with the influx of visitors who come to Washington in late spring to enjoy the blossoms and the city’s outdoor events.
