Hyatt Centric Opens Two New Hotels in Europe

Both Hyatt Centric La Rosière and Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid are now open. Hyatt Centric La Rosière is the brand’s first property in France and its first ski resort in Europe, while Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid marks Hyatt’s debut in mainland Spain. These two hotels expand the Hyatt Centric portfolio, joining 19 other locations worldwide.

“Since its launch in 2015, the Hyatt Centric brand has proven to be one of the fastest-growing lifestyle brands,” said Steve Haggerty, global head of capital strategy and franchising at Hyatt. The brand’s arrival in these European destinations represents a meaningful expansion of Hyatt’s presence in key travel markets and a further connection with millennial-minded guests in the upper-upscale lifestyle segment.

Sandra Cordova Micek, senior vice president of global brands at Hyatt, emphasized that Hyatt Centric targets travelers who want to be in the heart of local action. As the brand continues its international and domestic growth, it aims to provide savvy explorers with comfortable, well-located bases from which to discover sought-after destinations.

Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid

Located in the center of Madrid, Hyatt Centric Gran Via Madrid occupies a historic landmark building dating to the 1920s. The hotel offers 159 guestrooms and places guests within easy walking distance of key attractions such as El Retiro Park and the Royal Palace. Dining options include three on-site venues, and a rooftop terrace provides views along Gran Vía, making it an attractive choice for visitors who want convenient access to the city’s cultural and social life.

Hyatt Centric La Rosière

Set in the Tarentaise Valley, Hyatt Centric La Rosière provides 69 guestrooms and serves as an ideal base for alpine skiing, with easy connections to nearby resorts such as Courchevel and Les Arcs. The property includes 12 family suites, each featuring under-floor heating and mountain views. Guests can choose from three dining venues, enjoy immediate slope access, and relax in a full-service luxury spa—amenities that appeal to families and ski enthusiasts seeking comfort and convenience.

Both properties reflect Hyatt Centric’s focus on delivering locally rooted experiences in prime locations. Whether in a historic Madrid neighborhood or amid the French Alps, these hotels aim to offer modern design, thoughtful amenities and easy access to the activities and attractions that define their destinations.
