Tampa Bay encourages visitors to escape the daytime heat by enjoying the region’s top attractions after dark.
Through Aug. 18, Busch Gardens is presenting Summer Nights, with fan-favorite rides like Cheetah Hunt, the high-energy Kinetix music and acrobatics show, and a nightly fireworks finale. For a more tropical evening, Adventure Island offers Island Nights every Thursday, Friday and Saturday through Aug. 10, featuring live entertainment, beach games, tropical cuisine and island-style activities for families.
The Florida Aquarium is hosting Summer Fun Nights with extended hours and discounted admission on select Thursday evenings through Aug. 8. Visitors can watch a performance by The Florida Aquarium Mermaids or enjoy sunset views and local wildlife on a Wild Dolphin Cruise. Lowry Park Zoo will hold Summer Safari Nights on June 29 and July 13, staying open until 8 p.m. to present special programs—June 29 includes a ladybug release, while July 13 highlights frog conservation.
