“The arrival of both Raffles and Fairmont in Qatar—a market that is growing quickly and where luxury hospitality is thriving—strengthens each brand’s presence in the Middle East and reflects our commitment to expanding in destinations known for rich cultural experiences, which Doha increasingly offers,” said Omer Acar, CEO of Raffles Hotels & Resorts and Fairmont Hotels & Resorts. “Through the distinct service styles, culinary programs and design approaches at Raffles and Fairmont Doha, we are building new connections with local residents and international travelers while reinforcing our position as leaders in luxury hospitality.”
This month Raffles Doha unveiled four themed suites. The Falcon suite includes a falcon gallery, humidor, barber’s corner, private cinema and steam room. The Parisian suite centers on a bar and marble wine cellar and also offers a cinema, beauty salon and gym. The Designer suite showcases an art gallery, study, pantry and show kitchen. The two-story Royal Suite features a wine cellar, game room, gym, spa, hammam, hair salon, private pool and an internal elevator. Raffles Spa, which opened in February, adds nine treatment rooms to the hotel’s wellness offering.
