Philadelphia’s The Rittenhouse hotel has partnered with Bario Neal, a Philadelphia-based, women-owned sustainable jewelry studio, to offer a new collection of handcrafted heirloom pieces and a bespoke guest experience.

Together, the hotel and Bario Neal created a unique locket made from 14-carat recycled gold and set with ethically sourced diamonds. The locket is on display in The Rittenhouse lobby and available for purchase, with customizable options so each piece can be personalized to the wearer.
The collaboration is centered on the Rittenhouse Heirloom Experience, a curated package that pairs luxury accommodations with bespoke jewelry-making. Guests who choose the experience receive suite accommodations, a customized Rittenhouse Heirloom Locket, round-trip luxury transportation to Bario Neal for a private design appointment, a chef’s table meal at Lacroix, a Natura Bissé Diamond Collection treatment at the spa, and a celebratory bottle of Champagne accompanied by 24k gold–leafed macarons.

In addition, The Rittenhouse and Bario Neal launched an Heirloom Concierge service that gives guests intimate access to Bario Neal’s design experts. The concierge assists visitors in reimagining existing jewelry or creating entirely new custom pieces, ensuring each heirloom reflects the wearer’s story and style.
