WalletHub’s Top Hotel Rewards Programs Ranked for 2026

WalletHub evaluated the 10 most popular hotel rewards programs across 21 metrics to identify which programs deliver the best value for members with different travel budgets. The analysis examined point values, blackout policies, amenity perks and other factors that influence the real-world worth of loyalty rewards.

For the fourth consecutive year, Wyndham Rewards was rated the top hotel loyalty program for travelers at all spending levels. WalletHub found Wyndham offers the highest estimated return, up to $14.30 in rewards value per $100 spent, and it led the field for the breadth of redemption options available to members.

Best Western Rewards placed second. It stands out as the only major hotel program whose points do not expire due to account inactivity, making it especially attractive for infrequent travelers. Radisson Rewards ranked third, noted for having the fewest restrictions on earning points.

Marriott Rewards finished fourth. After the merger of Marriott, SPG and The Ritz-Carlton, the combined program showed increased value for members, with an estimated return of $10.85 per $100 spent—higher than any of the individual brands had achieved the previous year.

The full comparison covered the following loyalty programs: Hilton Honors, Marriott Rewards, Choice Privileges, IHG Rewards Club, Wyndham Rewards, Radisson Rewards, World of Hyatt, Best Western Rewards, La Quinta Returns and Drury Gold Key Club. By measuring a comprehensive set of criteria, WalletHub’s study highlights how differences in redemption flexibility, award values and program rules can affect the overall benefit travelers receive from hotel loyalty programs.
