Rosewood Mayakoba, located in the Riviera Maya, Mexico, introduces Casa Laguna, a new three-bedroom villa that sets a new standard for luxury accommodation in the region. At 9,400 square feet, the villa combines spacious indoor living with expansive outdoor areas and is reachable by private boat, golf cart, bicycle or on foot.
Casa Laguna offers a generous living room and dining room framed by floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook a serene lagoon. The villa includes a fully equipped chef’s kitchen where the on-site culinary team can prepare custom menus tailored to guests’ preferences. Guests may provide a shopping list prior to arrival to ensure the pantry is stocked, and the villa staff arranges daily deliveries of fresh fruit, canapés and cocktails.
Three well-appointed bedrooms provide privacy and comfort; two of them include en-suite bathrooms. Entertainment is centered in a state-of-the-art media room featuring a 70-inch screen and an extensive movie library. Interior designer Jose Manuel Martinez oversaw the villa’s interiors, creating a warm, soothing palette that complements the tropical surroundings.
The property’s outdoor amenities span roughly 3,000 square feet and include a private pool, a dock, an outdoor shower and a private dining deck—ideal for alfresco meals and relaxation by the water. A dedicated staff of five, including chef(s), a butler and housekeeping personnel, attends to guests to ensure a seamless stay. Rates for Casa Laguna start at $12,000 per night.
