Pedal Power: Langham Place New York’s Earth Day Bike Initiative

Langham Place, New York is celebrating Earth Day (April 22) with a set of eco-friendly initiatives. For the holiday, the hotel has replaced its usual complimentary house car with a pedi-cab provided by Revolution Rickshaws, offering guests an alternative, low-emission way to travel within Manhattan. The house car service remains complimentary and is available to guests on a first-come, first-served basis for transportation anywhere in Manhattan.

In addition to the transportation change, Measure Lounge at Langham Place is offering a special three-course vegetarian lunch through April 22. The menu is inspired by the elements: a beetroot and goat cheese salad representing Earth; a smoked tomato soup symbolizing wind and wood; and homemade chili pepper fries to evoke fire. This Earth Day menu also introduces a new monthly rotating three-course express lunch priced at $29.

To complement the vegetarian lunch, Measure Lounge has created an element-inspired version of its Three Martini Sampler, available for $16. These limited-time offerings are designed to highlight seasonal, plant-forward ingredients and provide guests with thoughtful, environmentally themed dining options during Earth Day.
