Los Angeles Hotel Renovations: Modern Facelifts for City Properties

Los Angeles is a city built for reinvention, and this spring two West Hollywood hotels are unveiling refreshed looks: the Montrose West Hollywood and the Chamberlain West Hollywood.

The Chamberlain West Hollywood has been updated throughout, starting with a redesigned lobby and refreshed interiors in 115 spacious suites. Each room now features a restrained monochromatic palette, thoughtfully selected artwork and furnishings upholstered in leather and velvet. The hotel’s new restaurant and bar, led by executive chef Henry Tapia, serves New American cuisine in a setting that evokes Old Hollywood glamour just off Sunset Boulevard. Guests can enjoy indoor seating or request a table on the garden patio beside the fire pit and trellis-covered greenery.

Nearby, the Montrose West Hollywood — formerly the Le Montrose Suite Hotel — now embraces an “upscale urban” mood that suits its tree-lined residential street and easy walking distance to Sunset and Santa Monica boulevards. The overhaul touches all public areas and each of the hotel’s 133 suites, which celebrate the local music scene through varied furnishings, artwork and lighting. New guest conveniences include co-working and lounge areas, a fast-service café offering Montrose Take-and-Make Meals for simple in-room preparation, and an updated restaurant with a menu created by Michelin-rated chef Bryan Achay.

Both properties are part of OLS Hotels & Resorts, and their redesigns were guided by the architecture and design firm Perkins+Will. The combined updates aim to balance modern comfort with local character, offering refreshed spaces for visitors seeking style, convenience and a distinctly West Hollywood vibe.
