LATAM Unveils New Business Class Menu and Curated Wine List

Passengers flying LATAM in business or premium-economy class now have expanded dining choices on international routes. The updated menus and a redesigned wine list highlight Latin American flavors and high-quality regional ingredients.

“Gastronomy is often among the most memorable parts of travel and a meaningful way to connect with a culture. At LATAM, we want to celebrate the ingredients and producers of Latin America. That’s why our menu and wine selection reflect the identity and diverse flavors of the continent, which is recognized around the world for its culinary offerings,” said Jerome Cadier, marketing vice president, LATAM Airlines Group.

Menus vary by departure region, giving travelers a range of culinary experiences while maintaining a consistent focus on premium ingredients. Each menu is crafted to showcase local products and culinary traditions from the airline’s different hubs.

For flights departing Chile or Argentina, dishes highlight ingredients such as Patagonian king crab, wheat berries and lucuma. Brazilian routes feature native seafood and produce like cobia, pirarucu and Brazil nuts. Menus from Peru, Colombia and Ecuador incorporate items such as octopus, lamb and passion fruit. Long-haul routes also take part: flights from the United States include choices like smoked salmon, oysters and organic chicken, while European departures introduce regional specialties such as Iberian ham, Parma ham, monkfish and locally sourced cheeses.

The updated wine list in premium cabins focuses exclusively on wines from Chile and Argentina, chosen to complement the new menus.

“Our aim was to assemble a wine selection of international caliber that showcases both classic and emerging wines from this region. The list reflects a thorough selection process that considered more than 500 renowned and award-winning wines, selected to pair well with our inflight dishes,” said Héctor Vergara, master sommelier and consultant, LATAM Airlines. “We also took into account how cabin pressure at 30,000 feet alters taste perception. For that reason, we selected wines that are naturally more fruity, fresh and light-bodied — wines that express the grape’s character and can be enjoyed more readily onboard.”

By combining region-specific dishes with a curated selection of Chilean and Argentine wines, LATAM aims to elevate the inflight dining experience and offer passengers a stronger sense of place through food and drink. The refreshed offerings emphasize traceable, high-quality ingredients and regional producers, bringing the flavors of Latin America to international travelers.
