Alaska Airlines has expanded its presence in Mexico by introducing a new nonstop route between Orange County, California (SNA) and Los Cabos, Mexico (SJD). The service operates year‑round with four weekly flights, providing more options for travelers in the Los Angeles Basin.
“We’re thrilled to enhance our Orange County service to the sun and sand of Los Cabos with new nonstop flights,” said John Kirby, vice president of capacity planning at Alaska Airlines. “Alaska Airlines continues to grow its presence in the L.A. Basin and to offer service where our customers desire it most.”
Alaska Airlines has served Los Cabos for more than 25 years. During peak travel periods the airline now operates 50 weekly flights to Los Cabos—more than any other carrier from California—strengthening its network and choices for leisure travelers.
The new SNA–SJD service is operated with fuel‑efficient Next‑Generation Boeing 737 aircraft. Customers can enjoy free onboard entertainment via their personal electronic devices, power outlets at every seat, and a selection of food and beverages that reflects regional favorites, including Beecher’s Flagship cheese and Canoe Ridge wine.
