Qatar Airways has launched a streamlined online system allowing eligible passengers to apply for tourist visas to Qatar directly through the airline.
The service simplifies the visa application process and includes an online tracking feature so applicants can monitor their visa status. This program applies to single-entry tourist visas valid for up to one month; the visa must be used within 60 days of issuance. Neither the visa validity nor the permitted stay can be extended.
Processing typically takes about 10 days. The standard application fee is $55 per person. For faster processing—approximately seven days—an express option is available for $120 per person. All visa application fees are nonrefundable.
Applicants must meet the following requirements and conditions:
- Hold a confirmed Qatar Airways ticket for travel into and out of Doha
- Book hotel accommodations in Qatar through Discover Qatar
- The issued visa will cover only the duration of the confirmed hotel stay
- Stays must not exceed 30 days
- Travel purpose must be tourism
