Sleep Among the Arts at SightSleeping Hotels

Sightsleeping has expanded its curated collection with five new hotels in Bavaria. The company focuses on properties “where sightseeing begins in the hotel itself,” and these additions reinforce that approach by highlighting hotels where art, design and local culture play a central role in the guest experience.

A panel of art experts, designers, journalists and tourism professionals evaluated candidate properties using criteria such as aesthetic quality, cultural significance and overall guest experience. The selected hotels provide an immersive stay in which the hotel’s artistic and cultural offerings matter as much as the attractions of the surrounding region.

“We continue to seek out exceptional properties,” said Martin Spantig, managing director of Baybern Tourismus Marketing GmbH. “These hotels are inspiring retreats for travelers who appreciate culture and design. They create a distinctive atmosphere the moment you wake up—similar to the sensation of seeing a favorite painting in person for the first time.”

The new hotels joining the Sightsleeping portfolio in Bavaria are:

  • Brauereigasthof Hotel Aying
  • Das Kranzbach
  • GutsAlm Harlachberg
  • Dennenlohe Palace
  • Schloss Blumenthal

Each property contributes a unique perspective on Bavarian culture—combining regional heritage, contemporary design and curated art to offer guests more than just a place to sleep. With these additions, Sightsleeping continues to build a portfolio for travelers who want their accommodation to be an integral part of the journey.
