In the January 2014 issue of Global Traveler, we introduce our new Business Plus department. This section—an evolution of our former Family Business feature—examines how to travel when work obligations occupy your schedule while friends or family explore the destination on their own.
For travelers with young children, Frankfurt Airport has introduced a practical amenity. Navigating an airport with little ones can be tiring, especially when exhausted children insist “carry me.” To ease that challenge, Frankfurt Airport provides strollers free of charge, making it simpler and more comfortable to move through the terminal with kids.
Strollers are located in convenient spots within both terminals. In Terminal 1, you can find them at the service point in the pre-security area of Concourse B and at information counter 10 in the B transit zone. In Terminal 2, strollers are available at the service point between Concourses D and E in the pre-security area. When you’re done using a stroller, return it to the pickup location or, if you’re boarding a departing flight or transferring between planes, leave it at the gate and airport staff will collect it.
This complimentary stroller service is part of Frankfurt Airport’s “Great to Have You Here!” program, which aims to enhance passenger comfort and convenience.
