Belmond has teamed up with Dior to present a refined wellness experience in the gardens of Grand Hotel Timeo, A Belmond Hotel, Taormina, marking the property’s 150th anniversary. Through October, the hotel’s cypress-lined grounds host two Dior treehouse treatment cabins, where guests can enjoy expert skincare treatments while taking in sweeping sea views.

A wooden staircase leads up to the two cabins—one designed for couples and the other for individual treatments. Each cabin is dressed with Toile de Jouy-inspired curtains, updated in a vibrant green leaf motif to harmonize with the natural surroundings. Guests also enjoy a private terrace furnished with rattan seating, an umbrella and plants, all positioned to maximize the panoramic views.
The treatment menu highlights Dior’s skincare expertise, offering signature face and body therapies. The Dolce Vita Solar Glow is a one-hour combined face and body ritual that finishes with a full-body application of protective sun cream or a calming after-sun balm. Additional options include the Dior Prestige Haute Précision facial, a targeted, restorative face treatment, and Constellation, a comprehensive body massage focused on holistic wellbeing.

Opened in 1873 as Taormina’s first hotel, Grand Hotel Timeo helped establish Sicily as a desirable destination. Perched with views of Mount Etna, the hotel has long attracted creative and cultural figures, from painters and composers to writers and classic film stars. Today it continues to offer distinguished hospitality, including a Michelin-starred dining experience led by Executive Chef Roberto Toro.
