American Express has finalized an agreement to bring a new Centurion Lounge to the Tom Bradley International Terminal at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
The lounge will serve international travelers as well as passengers connecting through Terminals 4 and 5, which link to Terminals 6 and 8. Although the walk between some terminals at LAX can be lengthy, the new Centurion Lounge will offer a comfortable retreat for travelers during extended layovers.
American Express previously operated a temporary Centurion Lounge pop-up at LAX in December 2016 to provide a relaxing space during the busy holiday season and to promote its premium Centurion Lounges nationwide. That temporary facility closed later in 2016.
Under the new arrangement, American Express will lease the lounge space from LAX for $2.8 million per year under a 10-year agreement. This location will represent the company’s 12th premium Centurion Lounge in the United States.
