Wildland Adventures Unveils Immersive Culinary Tour Experiences

In celebration of its 30th anniversary, Wildland Adventures is presenting a special “Walks, Wine, and Culinary Adventures in Northern Spain” tour. The departure date for this celebratory trip is May 21, 2016.

“There’s no better way to mark 30 years of ‘Going Wild’ than sharing meals with our guests while local chefs prepare regional specialties and winemakers pour the wines,” says Kurt Kutay, co-owner of Wildland Adventures.

The Northern Spain itinerary runs 13 days, beginning and ending in Bilbao. The double-occupancy rate starts at $7,995 per person.

Wildland Adventures has also added other new departures for the season: a 14-day journey to Argentina priced from $5,800 per person double, a 13-day exploration of Turkey’s Turquoise Coast from $4,895 per person double occupancy, and an eight-day South Africa itinerary priced from $3,950 per person double.

Typical trip features include welcome multicourse wine dinners, private guided tours of major sites, guided hikes tailored to varying fitness levels, and meals at notable regional restaurants. These experiences are designed to highlight local culinary traditions and regional wines while providing active, small-group travel experiences.

Each itinerary balances cultural exploration with opportunities to sample local food and wine: guided walks bring travelers to scenic villages, markets and vineyards; private tastings introduce regional producers; and curated restaurant meals showcase local chefs and ingredients. Wildland’s small-group approach emphasizes immersion and personal interaction with guides and hosts.

Pricing reflects double-occupancy arrangements and can vary based on departure date, accommodations and included activities. Prospective travelers should contact Wildland Adventures for current availability, booking details and any promotional offers tied to the anniversary program.
