Ocean Casino Resort has announced a multimillion-dollar, property-wide transformation taking place this year as part of a seven-year development plan that began in 2018.
“Ocean continues to invest in property enhancements that enable us to provide an unmatched guest experience not only in Atlantic City, but nationwide,” said Bill Callahan, general manager of Ocean Casino Resort. “We are introducing five highly anticipated dining concepts that our customers have been asking for. This year also marks an exciting milestone as we complete the entire hotel with fully renovated guest rooms and suites.”

A major focus of the renovation is the property’s 1,860 guestrooms and suites. The redesigned Blu rooms and suites draw inspiration from the shoreline, with beach-inspired flooring, coastal wall accents and color palettes that enhance ocean views. Upgraded suites include improved finishes and added amenities such as a dining area, wet bar and dedicated lounge seating to create a more comfortable, contemporary stay.
The resort will also add two new restaurants in partnership with restaurateur Stephen Starr. These multimillion-dollar concepts, located on the lobby level, are slated to open this summer and will expand Ocean’s culinary offerings.

Joining the roster of new dining destinations is LaScala’s Fire, a South Jersey and Philadelphia favorite known for classic Italian-American dishes. The menu will include items such as ricotta board, cheesesteak egg rolls, a meatball trio, a variety of pastas, gourmet pizzas, chicken parmesan and grilled salmon, delivering familiar regional favorites with elevated presentation.
Additional food-and-beverage concepts include High Steaks, which will serve both traditional and inventive cheesesteaks, and Blend, offering hand-crafted smoothies, açai bowls and lighter grab-and-go options for guests seeking fresh, quick bites.

The casino floor will receive a significant enhancement as well, including a refined Asian gaming space designed by R2Architects. Opening this summer, the new area will feature 32 gaming tables for games such as Mini Baccarat and Pai Gow Poker, creating an upscale environment for table play.

One of the resort’s headline additions is Ocean’s 18 Mini Golf & Bar, a multimillion-dollar entertainment venue featuring a state-of-the-art mini golf course and two levels of immersive activities. The attraction will welcome guests with dramatic touches, including two holograms of a 12-foot great white shark, and aims to provide a distinctive social and recreational experience for families and groups.
Retail offerings will expand as well. Fans of Jersey Shore personalities can look forward to Sweetheart Coast by Sammi Sweetheart, opening this summer in the Shops at Row. The boutique will offer women’s apparel in a range of sizes, home decor, accessories and curated gift items, adding a local-flavored shopping option within the resort.
These updates reflect Ocean Casino Resort’s continued investment in guest experience across accommodations, dining, gaming, entertainment and retail. With the completion of renovated rooms and several new concepts scheduled to debut throughout the year, the resort aims to strengthen its position as a destination for visitors to Atlantic City and beyond.
