Cathay Pacific has opened The Bridge, its sixth passenger lounge at Hong Kong International Airport (HKG). Located on Level 5 of the West Concourse near Gate 35, the lounge spans more than 27,000 square feet and welcomes first- and business-class travelers as well as Marco Polo Club members with Silver, Gold, or Diamond status.
The Bridge is organized around a central reception area with two wings. The north wing houses a bar, a television lounge, a general seating area and a bakery offering freshly baked breads, pizzas, sandwiches, pastries, soups with both Asian and Western influences, and fresh salads. The south wing offers nine private shower suites and a self-service dining area featuring a selection of high-quality hot and cold dishes inspired by Asian and Western cuisines.
Ivan Chu, Chief Operating Officer of Cathay Pacific, highlighted the carrier’s ongoing investment in passenger facilities: “Cathay Pacific is committed to offering our passengers some of the best lounges in the world. We have come a long way since opening our first lounge, The Wing, in 1998. We introduced The Pier in 2001, The Arrival in 2008, and The Cabin in 2010. Together with Dragonair’s G16 lounge, and with the opening of The Bridge, the Cathay Pacific Group now operates a total of six lounges at Hong Kong International Airport.”
The Bridge extends Cathay Pacific’s lounge network at HKG, providing more space and amenities for travelers seeking a comfortable pre-flight experience. With dedicated areas for dining, relaxation and refreshment, the lounge is designed to accommodate the needs of both short-stay visitors and those preparing for long-haul departures.
