2 Compelling Reasons to Visit Santa Ynez Valley, California in 2025

This year is an ideal time to visit the Santa Ynez Valley thanks to two special offerings: the Midweek Membership Club and Santa Ynez Valley Restaurant Week.

The Midweek Membership Club

Weekday visits to the Santa Ynez Valley offer a quieter, more relaxed way to explore the region’s wineries, restaurants, cultural attractions and outdoor experiences. The Midweek Membership Club makes midweek stays even more rewarding: guests who book an eligible, consecutive two-night stay (Sunday–Thursday) at a qualifying lodging property between Jan. 12 and April 30 receive $100 at check-in. That credit can be applied toward wine tastings, meals, shopping, activities and other local experiences, making it easier to sample what the valley does best.

Santa Ynez Valley Restaurant Week

Now in its 15th year, Santa Ynez Valley Restaurant Week celebrates the region’s rich culinary scene. The valley has a strong agricultural foundation and a collaborative culinary community, attracting imaginative chefs who create menus that range from modern farm-to-table dishes to comforting traditional fare. From Jan. 19 to Feb. 1, participating restaurants will present three-course, fixed-price menus designed by their chefs, typically priced between $30 and $50. This event is a great way to taste the diversity and creativity of the valley’s dining options.

Alongside restaurants, more than two dozen wineries and tasting rooms are joining the celebration. Many will offer two-for-one tastings, special tasting flights and discounts on bottles, giving visitors even more opportunities to enjoy local wines while dining during Restaurant Week.
