The Sheraton Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin opened last week, marking Sheraton’s debut in Nizhny Novgorod, an important economic, educational and cultural centre in the Volga-Vyatka region.
“The opening of Sheraton Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin underscores our commitment to growing and enhancing our portfolio in the Russian market while strengthening the brand’s position in global travel,” said John Licence, Vice President, Premium and Select Brands, Europe, Marriott International. “We are excited to build on Sheraton’s strong heritage in Central Europe and to provide our guests with opportunities to explore, relax and enjoy an exceptional stay in this remarkable destination.”
Located within walking distance of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin, as well as nearby shopping and historic attractions, the hotel offers 176 guestrooms and suites. Guests staying in the Sheraton Club receive complimentary breakfast, drinks and snacks in the Club Lounge. On-site amenities include a Sheraton Fitness Centre and a massage suite. The hotel’s signature restaurant, Smorodinn, features seasonal dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. For business and events, the property provides six meeting rooms and flexible event space.
Travel connections are convenient: the hotel offers easy access to Strigino International Airport (GOJ) and has good rail links to Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The Sheraton Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin is one of several Marriott International properties planned in Russia, with additional hotels scheduled to open in cities including Krasnodar, Moscow, Rostov-on-Don, Saransk, Sochi and Voronezh before the end of 2018.
