Luxury Hotel Debuts in New York: Inside the City’s Newest Stay

The Dominick has opened in Manhattan, occupying the building formerly known as Trump SoHo New York. As the only Five-Diamond property in SoHo, the hotel rises 46 stories and offers 391 guestrooms with sweeping views of Manhattan and the Hudson River. Its amenities include an outdoor pool, a full-service spa, three distinct dining venues and versatile event space.

“The debut of The Dominick marks a new start for the continuation of the level of luxury service that has been set at this hotel,” said Sharon Telesca-Feurer, director of sales and marketing for The Dominick. “We look forward to introducing new and exciting offerings for our new and returning guests.”

Guestroom and suite sizes range from 422 to 2,331 square feet, and the property features 10 two-bedroom penthouses. Every room is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows to maximize natural light and city views, and furnishings by Fendi Casa provide a refined, contemporary aesthetic.

The spa at The Dominick introduces what is described as the first luxury hammam experience in New York, alongside nine treatment rooms and both indoor and outdoor relaxation areas. Spa services include in-room hair and makeup, and three private spa suites with adjacent treatment rooms are available for more secluded treatments.

Dining on-site covers a variety of tastes and occasions. Spring & Varick presents creative modern American cuisine with seasonally driven menus. Mr. Jones is a cocktail bar that evokes the spirit of 1960s Americana, focusing on classic and inventive drinks. Bar d’Eau functions as an indoor-outdoor rooftop bar offering a lighter menu ideal for casual dining and socializing with panoramic views.

With its combination of luxury accommodations, curated dining, wellness facilities and event capabilities, The Dominick positions itself as a high-end destination in SoHo for travelers seeking upscale urban hospitality and locals looking for refined dining and leisure experiences.
