Named for the tropical banyan tree—a symbol of shelter, calm and inner harmony—Banyan Tree Krabi in southern Thailand introduces a refined Afternoon Tea Set available to resort guests and walk-in visitors. The tea service is presented on fine porcelain and features a colorful assortment of hot and cold nibbles. Signature items include Pani Puri caviar, truffle-braised wagyu beef and a mango sticky rice mousse cake that reflects the region’s flavors. The venue is notable for three Bird’s Nest tables, perched high among the trees and offering sweeping views across the Andaman Sea—an atmospheric setting that has quickly become popular with guests and photographers since the resort opened in 2020.
Bird’s Nest tables seat up to four people and provide an elevated, intimate perspective over the resort’s forested slopes and the coastal horizon. Their dramatic placement has made them a favored spot for afternoon gatherings and memorable photos.

This season’s afternoon tea allows guests to choose from three elegant crockery collections: the Citrus Charm Collection, Sapphire Sips Collection, and Birdsong & Blossom Bliss Collection. Each collection is available with either Chinoiserie or Classical porcelain patterns, enhancing the visual appeal of the service.
Teas are supplied by Dilmah Ceylon Tea Company and cover a full range of classics: English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Sencha and jasmine green teas, along with peppermint and chamomile, ensuring choices to suit different preferences.

Finger foods arrive on a three-tiered bird-cage stand. The chef highlights a signature creation: house-smoked salmon and black kingfish wrapped in betel leaves, served with a local herb salad, roasted chili, cashew nuts, crispy fried shallots and a roasted-rice tamarind dressing. Homemade scones are also featured—standouts include a sesame puff filled with pandan custard and a sweet‑sour lychee scone in orange‑flavored syrup—delights that showcase regional ingredients and careful technique.
Reservations for the Bird’s Nest tables are available in two sittings: 2:00–3:30 pm and 3:30–5:00 pm, allowing guests to choose the time that best suits their schedule and preferred light for views or photography.
