United Airlines Adds 10 New Domestic Routes for Summer 2026

United Airlines is launching 10 new routes beginning in April and is adjusting its schedule at Chicago O’Hare International Airport to shorten connection times and increase connection options for travelers.

The new routes include:

  • Chicago (ORD) to El Paso (ELP) — two daily flights beginning April 9
  • Chicago (ORD) to Wilmington, N.C. (ILM) — two daily flights beginning April 9
  • Chicago (ORD) to Fresno (FAT) — daily service beginning June 7
  • Denver (DEN) to Jacksonville (JAX) — daily service beginning April 9
  • Newark (EWR) to Elmira, N.Y. (ELM) — two daily flights beginning April 9
  • Washington, D.C. (IAD) to Wilmington, N.C. (ILM) — two daily flights beginning April 9
  • Los Angeles (LAX) to Medford, Ore. (MFR) — two daily flights beginning April 9
  • Los Angeles (LAX) to Kalispell, Mont. (FCA) — daily service beginning June 7
  • Los Angeles (LAX) to Missoula, Mont. (MSO) — daily service beginning June 7

These additions expand United’s domestic footprint and provide more options for both business and leisure travelers. Several of the seasonal routes aim to improve access to national parks and outdoor destinations ahead of the summer travel season, while the increased frequencies on key markets support business travel demand.

Grant Whitney, vice president of domestic network planning at United Airlines, said the carrier continues to prioritize making United the top choice for customers planning domestic and international trips. The new daily services connect travelers to vital business centers and offer more convenient access to popular summer destinations.

The airline’s adjustments at Chicago O’Hare are intended to streamline connections through the hub, offering shorter transfer times and greater schedule reliability. Travelers connecting through ORD should see improved options and reduced layover durations for many itineraries as the optimized schedule takes effect.

Passengers interested in these new routes and revised schedules can check flights and book travel directly through United’s website or their preferred booking channel.
