“With the transformation of Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort, our intention is to continually elevate and enhance the Waikīkī experience for each and every guest – whether they hail from Austin or Zurich,” said Markus Krebs, general manager of Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. “The Coral Reef Penthouse Suite is the crown jewel of this resort and part of the all-new Wellness Wing, which includes 23 additional deluxe rooms, a fitness center and the Coral Kids Club.”
Inspired by Hawaiian culture and oceanfront living, the Coral Reef Penthouse Suite is a two-bedroom pied-à-terre that showcases coastal colors, premium finishes and an indoor/outdoor design. The suite offers nearly 4,000 square feet of living space and features the largest oceanfront lānai in Waikīkī, creating a seamless connection with the sea and sky.

“The Coral Reef Penthouse name honors Outrigger’s long-running commitment to coral conservation through The Outrigger Zone (OZONE). A portion of the proceeds from each direct booking of this premium penthouse will support coral reef preservation and restoration efforts,” said Sean Dee, EVP and chief commercial officer of Outrigger Hospitality Group.
The suite is accessed by a private elevator and accommodates up to eight adults across two bedrooms and three bathrooms, making it ideal for multigenerational groups and families. The well-equipped kitchen includes a full-sized refrigerator and a dining table, while the expansive lānai offers sweeping views of Diamond Head and the Pacific Ocean.
As part of the resort’s broader renovation, the Diamond Head Tower and Wellness Wing emphasize comfort, contemporary design and sustainable practices, enhancing the guest experience while honoring the natural and cultural heritage of Hawaiʻi. The Coral Reef Penthouse Suite serves as a signature accommodation that combines luxury, functionality and a commitment to environmental stewardship.
