United Airlines continues to receive industry recognition, earning Favorite Frequent-Flyer Program from trazeetravel.com for the fourth straight year and being named Best Reward Program of any airline in the Americas by FlyerTalk.
These recent honors follow United’s 15th consecutive win as Best Overall Frequent-Flyer Program in Global Traveler’s GT Tested Reader Survey awards.
The Trazee Awards are determined by readers of trazeetravel.com, a travel-focused publication targeting the 25–40 age group. More than 15,000 votes were cast between December 2018 and March 2019, resulting in United being selected Favorite Frequent-Flyer Program for the fourth time. The United Explorer Card from Chase was named Favorite Credit Card.

United continually evolves its MileagePlus program, adding ways to earn and redeem miles and expanding member benefits. In June 2018 United and Chase introduced an enhanced United Explorer Card that awards two miles per $1 spent on hotels and restaurants and provides 25 percent back on in-flight Wi‑Fi, food and beverages.
MileagePlus offers more earning opportunities than any other U.S. carrier and flexible redemption options, with some e-gift cards available for as few as 1,000 miles. United also upgraded its MileagePlusX app to give members additional ways to earn and use miles when shopping and dining.
FlyerTalk, an online community of frequent travelers, conducts an annual survey to identify top travel programs and benefits. In addition to naming MileagePlus the Best Reward Program in the Americas, FlyerTalk members selected the complimentary Economy Plus upgrades available to MileagePlus members as the most Outstanding Benefit among airline programs in the region.
United and its Star Alliance partners serve more than 1,300 destinations in over 190 countries, giving MileagePlus the widest network of award destinations among U.S. carriers. Members earn miles on United, United Express and Star Alliance flights, and through purchases with partner companies worldwide.

In the 2018 GT Tested Reader Survey, MileagePlus maintained its strong showing: winning Best Overall Frequent-Flyer Program for the 15th time, Best Frequent-Flyer Bonus Program for the sixth consecutive year, and continuing to earn recognition for its co-branded credit cards. The United MileagePlus Club Card from Chase was named Best Overall Credit Card and Best Credit Card Rewards Program for the seventh year running, and the United Explorer Card won Best Frequent-Flyer Affinity Credit Card Redemptions for the sixth time.
