Celebrity Cruises Launches New Gourmet Dining Experiences at Sea

Celebrity Cruises is expanding its restaurant lineup and onboard dining experiences with several new and updated culinary offerings designed to delight a wide range of guests. Highlights include enhanced concierge-class amenities, regional menu additions, and refreshed specialty venues—each crafted to elevate the voyage dining experience.

Guests staying in concierge-class staterooms will now be welcomed with an exclusive concierge luncheon at the start of each cruise. The meal features menus developed by Cornelius Gallagher, Celebrity’s Michelin-starred chef, providing an elevated and memorable introduction to the cruise. Across itineraries, locally sourced Alaskan king crab will be offered on Alaskan sailings, and additional voyages will include chef-led culinary excursions that immerse guests in regional flavors and techniques.

Bistro on Five has been transformed into Sushi on Five, a dedicated sushi concept that showcases hand-rolled sushi, house-made sauces, and a selection of Asian-inspired beverages. Offerings include Japanese beers and curated sake selections presented by a sake sommelier, adding authenticity and depth to the sushi experience.

The Tuscan Grille receives a refreshed menu that will roll out fleetwide in the coming months. Expect contemporary takes on classic Italian dishes, emphasizing seasonal ingredients and thoughtful presentation. The Sky Observation Lounge will also expand its beverage program with handcrafted cocktails created by a flair mixologist, bringing theatrical bartending and inventive drink recipes to guests seeking a stylish nightcap with panoramic views.

Beginning in November, Celebrity will introduce Dine Aware, a new standard aimed at ensuring guests with special dietary needs can dine with confidence. The program is designed to improve transparency and accommodate dietary restrictions safely and reliably across dining venues.

Future enhancements will include personalized cappuccinos and lattes at select onboard cafés, allowing guests to see their own images and photos printed on specialty coffee drinks. Additionally, a wine blending class will be available fleetwide by year-end, paired with exclusive Riedel glassware to enhance the tasting experience and educate guests on blending and presentation.

Brian Abel, vice president of hotel operations for Celebrity Cruises, commented on the updates: “Celebrity has always been recognized for its unmatched culinary and beverage experiences. Our guests, trade partners and multiple award wins continue to affirm this. We are now taking our expertise to an entirely new level through our latest offerings, which are adventurous, unexpected and distinct—just like Celebrity. When you combine all of this with our passion for delivering extraordinary service and having the very best culinary talent at sea, you have a truly winning combination.”
