SWISS Starts Direct Flights and New Service to Singapore

Swiss International Air Lines has launched daily non-stop service between Zurich (ZRH) and Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). Operated with Airbus A340-300 aircraft, the route offers 219 seats arranged in a three-class cabin configuration, providing options for business travelers and leisure passengers alike.

Flights depart Zurich at 10:45 p.m. and arrive in Singapore at 5:15 p.m. the following day. The return service leaves Singapore at 11:10 p.m. and arrives in Zurich at 6:10 a.m. the next morning. These schedules are timed to facilitate convenient connections and allow passengers to make the most of their travel days.

From Zurich, travelers can connect onward to 35 destinations across Europe as well as to key North American cities, including New York (JFK) and Miami (MIA). The new route strengthens links between Switzerland and Southeast Asia, offering seamless connections for business, tourism, and cargo.

“With our daily non-stop services between Singapore and Switzerland we want to meet the growing travel needs of both business and leisure travelers between our countries,” said Harry Hohmeister, CEO of SWISS. “We are delighted to now bring the best of service, products and hospitality from Switzerland to Singapore.”

The introduction of this non-stop service underscores SWISS’s commitment to expanding its long-haul network and enhancing connectivity for passengers traveling between Europe and Asia. Passengers can expect the airline’s typical Swiss hospitality, onboard amenities appropriate to each class of service, and the convenience of daily departures.

Travelers planning to use the route should check availability and booking options through SWISS’s official channels and consider connections from Zurich to other European and transatlantic destinations when arranging itineraries.
