Carlson Rezidor has expanded its presence in the Netherlands with the signing of the Radisson Blu Palace Hotel Noordwijk aan Zee. Situated in the heart of Noordwijk on the country’s western coast and roughly 20 minutes from Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS), the property will join the Radisson Blu portfolio in February 2014. This addition raises Carlson Rezidor’s Benelux portfolio to 15 properties either operating or under development.
The existing hotel offers 120 guestrooms and a range of leisure and dining facilities designed to appeal to both business and leisure travelers. Guests can enjoy a brasserie with a terrace, an à la carte restaurant and bar, and a comprehensive spa featuring eight treatment rooms. The wellness offering is complemented by an indoor swimming pool and a fitness center. For meetings and events, the hotel provides flexible meeting space suitable for conferences, banquets and social gatherings.
Radisson Blu is an upper-upscale brand that currently operates more than 220 hotels across 50 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The addition of the Radisson Blu Palace Hotel Noordwijk aan Zee strengthens the brand’s coastal and conference market presence in the Netherlands and offers travelers an option close to Schiphol with direct access to the amenities of a full-service, upper-upscale hotel.
