Norwegian Cruise Line Partners With Ferrari for Luxury Sea-to-Land Experiences

Norwegian Cruise Line has announced a new partnership with Scuderia Ferrari Watches to bring branded entertainment and activities aboard Norwegian Joy.

Scuderia Ferrari Watches, the official timekeeper for Ferrari’s racing division, will sponsor the ship’s two-level competitive racetrack located on the top deck.

The electric go-kart track accommodates up to 10 drivers at a time, allowing guests to race one another. Racers will also have the opportunity to get photos taken at the finish line.

Guests staying in Haven and Concierge staterooms will receive complimentary access to the go-kart track as one of the suite-level benefits.

This collaboration is part of the ship’s rollout ahead of the debut of the 3,850-passenger vessel, Norwegian Cruise Line’s first ship purpose-built for the Chinese market. Norwegian Joy is scheduled to enter service in the summer of 2017 and will make port calls in Shanghai and Tianjin following a grand inaugural tour on June 27, with entertainer Wang Leehom serving as the ship’s Godfather.

In addition to the track, Norwegian Joy will feature a Scuderia Ferrari Watches retail store located adjacent to the racetrack.
