Starwood Hotels & Resorts is preparing to open three new luxury properties in Al Habtoor City: Dubai’s first St. Regis, the United Arab Emirates’ inaugural W hotel, and the largest Westin in the Middle East.
Together the hotels will offer nearly 1,600 rooms, 21 restaurants and lounges, two spas, three advanced ballrooms and 25 meeting rooms. The openings will occur in stages, beginning with the 234-room St. Regis Dubai on November 15. Following that will be the 356-room W Dubai – Al Habtoor City, and the 1,004-room The Westin Dubai, Al Habtoor City.
Al Habtoor City sits along Sheikh Zayed Road and is positioned to reshape the area’s hospitality and entertainment landscape. The development occupies prime waterfront land on the Dubai Water Canal and combines luxury hotels, residential towers and leisure facilities. A highlight of the project is a bespoke entertainment theater produced by Dragone, designed as a permanent water-based theatrical experience — the only one of its kind between Las Vegas and Macau.
The launch of these three branded hotels strengthens Dubai’s appeal to international travelers and business visitors by expanding high-end accommodation options and meeting facilities within a single integrated destination. With significant dining, wellness and event amenities, Al Habtoor City aims to serve both local residents and the region’s growing tourism and events market.
