Etihad Airways and Aerolíneas Argentinas Codeshare Flights

Etihad Airways and Aerolineas Argentinas have launched a codeshare partnership that simplifies travel between Abu Dhabi and Argentina. The agreement lets passengers connect through Rome (FCO) and Madrid (MAD) to Buenos Aires (EZE), with onward connections to nine popular destinations within Argentina.

Under the partnership, Aerolineas Argentinas customers can also access Etihad’s global network of more than 100 destinations from its Abu Dhabi (AUH) hub via Rome and Madrid, expanding international routing options and improving connectivity between South America, Europe and the Middle East.

“This codeshare demonstrates the importance of Argentina as a vital travel market for Etihad Airways in Latin America given the growing tourism, cultural and business opportunities that exist between the UAE and Argentina,” said Mohammad Al Bulooki, executive vice president commercial at Etihad.

The agreement includes practical benefits for travelers: through-checking of baggage to the final destination when traveling on codeshare itineraries, dedicated assistance during connections, and streamlined transfer procedures. In addition, members of both airlines’ loyalty programs will soon be able to earn and redeem miles on eligible codeshare flights, enhancing value for frequent flyers.

This codeshare strengthens cooperation between the two carriers and offers passengers more convenient schedules and seamless ticketing across multiple carriers. It is particularly useful for travelers seeking efficient one-stop routes between Argentina and destinations across Etihad’s network, while also providing Aerolineas Argentinas customers easier access to Europe and beyond via Etihad’s Abu Dhabi hub.

Travelers should check the airlines’ official schedules and fare rules when booking codeshare itineraries to confirm baggage allowances, connection times and mileage accrual. As with any partnership, operational details such as aircraft type, on-board services and check-in locations may vary depending on which carrier operates each flight segment.

Overall, the new codeshare aims to deliver improved connectivity, smoother transfers and expanded loyalty benefits for passengers traveling between Argentina and Etihad’s global network.
