Maine for Humanity: How the State Supports Global Aid Efforts

Donate $35 to Habitat for Humanity and enjoy a half-price stay at participating Maine inns. This offer is part of the Maine Innkeepers Association’s 11th Annual Hospitality for Habitat program, which raises funds for local Habitat for Humanity chapters while encouraging spring travel to Maine.

From April 21 through May 23, participating inns set aside a limited number of rooms at 50% off the regular rate for guests who make reservations in advance and provide a $35 check payable to Habitat for Humanity. Proceeds are distributed among the 10 local Habitat for Humanity chapters.

Habitat for Humanity International, founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller, and its affiliates have worked in thousands of communities worldwide to build homes with partner families. The Hospitality for Habitat program supports that mission locally while giving travelers an affordable way to experience Maine’s coastline, small towns, and hospitality during the spring season.

Reservations must be made in advance and the donation must be submitted as a check. Participating properties include a mix of coastal inns, resorts, and bed & breakfasts across the state:
