Langham Hotels Expands U.S. Presence with New Locations

Langham Hotels and Resorts will expand its presence in the United States with three new properties opening between 2018 and 2019. The additions include the brand’s first U.S. resort and two major urban hotels, each positioned in high-profile developments.

Opening in early 2018, Langham Place, Wade Park will rise in Frisco, Texas as a 35-floor component of the Wade Park development. The building will dedicate 25 floors to the hotel and 10 floors to residences. The hotel will offer 250 guestrooms, multiple suites and two presidential suites measuring 2,906 square feet each. Guests will also have access to a full-service Chuan Body + Soul spa on site, extending Langham’s signature wellness offerings to the Texas market.

Planned for 2019, Langham Place, San Francisco will be part of the Transbay Transit Center Project, an ambitious redevelopment frequently described as the “Grand Central Station of the West.” Positioned within this new transportation and mixed-use hub, the hotel will bring Langham’s luxury accommodations to a key urban center in Northern California.

The Langham, Bishop’s Lodge, Santa Fe will mark the brand’s first U.S. resort. This project is a renovation and reimagining of the historic Bishop’s Lodge property. The resort will occupy 317 acres and feature amenities tailored to a resort experience, including private stables and dedicated horseback riding trails. The property is slated to open in spring 2018 and aims to preserve the site’s heritage while introducing Langham’s hospitality standards.

“We have chosen three exciting destinations in the United States in which to expand the Langham Hotels and Resort portfolio. Thanks to our successful hotels in the United States, as well as our celebrated locations in London, Sydney, Hong Kong and Shanghai, our brand awareness among luxury travelers has never stronger. With these three new additions, we will continue to offer our guests a diversity of experiences in North America,” said Robert Warman, chief executive officer of Langham Hospitality Group.
