Britto Luxury Dining Debuts Onboard the New Sun Princess

Guests sailing aboard Princess Cruises’ Sun Princess can now enjoy a new specialty dining experience: Love by Britto. This sensory restaurant concept is a collaboration between Princess Cruises’ Head of Culinary Arts, Rudi Sodamin, and Brazilian artist Romero Britto, founder of the Happy Art Movement.

Situated aft on deck 17 and surrounded by Britto’s vibrant, expressive artwork, Love by Britto offers a seven-course, fixed-price tasting menu. The meal opens with delicacies such as oysters paired with lemongrass kafir, mirin and gold flakes. Subsequent courses include a cappuccino of wild mushroom soup; a beet, fig and goat cheese salad; a pink Champagne and rose petal granita; lobster tail Thermidor; and a succulent beef tenderloin finished with truffle jus. The centerpiece dessert is a heart-shaped chocolate lava cake served with fresh berries and raspberry cream, accompanied by petits fours.

The dining room features bright, cheerful dinnerware adorned with Britto’s motifs, and the beverage program includes love-themed specialty cocktails such as the Strawberry Love Potion, Expresso My Love and the Britto Coupe.

Love by Britto complements an already diverse onboard culinary lineup. Guests can choose from Makoto Ocean, led by Chef Makoto Okuwa and focused on sushi and Japanese traditions; The Butcher’s Block by Dario, a pop-up steak concept from renowned butcher Dario Cecchini; Spellbound by Magic Castle, which blends culinary creativity with theatrical magic; and The Catch by Rudi, showcasing seafood selections curated by Chef Sodamin. For destination-inspired cocktails, passengers can also visit Good Spirits at Sea with Rob Floyd.

“We’re proud to see Love by Britto come to life with Sun Princess guests celebrating this exclusive dining event, showcasing the harmony between food, art and love,” said Rudi Sodamin, head of culinary arts for Princess Cruises.
