A new 19-story dual-branded hotel is planned to open in summer 2026 in the heart of Uptown Dallas. Developed by Peachtree Group and featuring Marriott’s AC Hotel and Moxy Hotel brands, the property will deliver 264 upscale guest rooms, modern amenities, and distinct food, beverage and retail offerings along the vibrant McKinney Avenue corridor. The project is positioned to strengthen Dallas’s hospitality options and complement the neighborhood’s energetic dining and entertainment scene.
The dual-branded property will include 110 AC Hotel rooms and 154 Moxy rooms, offering guests two complementary experiences under one roof. AC Hotel will focus on a refined, European-inspired aesthetic and tranquil comfort, while Moxy will emphasize playful design and social spaces, together targeting guests seeking upscale yet approachable accommodations in Uptown.
“Most hotels in Uptown cater to the upper-upscale and luxury segments, leaving many leisure and business visitors to this area of Dallas lacking in upscale options,” said Greg Friedman, managing principal and CEO of Peachtree Group. “Uptown represents one of the highest-income and most desirable submarkets in the Dallas market. This dual-branded project will be situated in a premier location within the neighborhood, half a block from many of the area’s restaurants, bars and entertainment venues.”

The property’s ground floor will feature the signature Moxy Bar and Restaurant, designed to create an energetic street-level presence attractive to both guests and locals. A standout amenity will be a custom-branded bar and lounge on the eighth floor, opening onto an elevated deck with an outdoor terrace, water features and notable views of the Dallas skyline—an ideal space for socializing and events.
“These two Moxy spaces will create a unique destination within Uptown Dallas, attracting attention from both hotel guests and locals,” Friedman added.
Guest services will include a fully equipped, state-of-the-art fitness center and a 261-space on-site parking garage, supporting both short-term visitors and longer-stay guests. Together, the two brands aim to deliver a balanced mix of comfort, style and convenience that fits the Uptown market.
Uptown is one of Dallas’s most walkable live-work-play communities, known for its mix of new apartment developments, trendy bars, popular restaurants and high-quality shopping. While McKinney Avenue remains a lively social corridor, residential life farther north toward Knox Street tends to feature tree-lined streets and townhomes preferred by established professionals. The arrival of this dual-branded hotel is expected to add an accessible, upscale option for visitors and help meet the area’s growing demand for diverse hospitality choices.
