Guests at Banyan Tree’s luxury resorts in Mexico can now enjoy unlimited spa treatments with the introduction of Spa Sanctuary Villas at Banyan Tree Mayakoba on the Riviera Maya and Banyan Tree Cabo Marques near Acapulco.
From arrival, the experience is curated for relaxation and convenience: private airport transfers, in-room check-in and a welcome foot bath set the tone. Guests meet with sanctuary hosts and professional spa therapists to tailor an itinerary based on personal preferences—whether a restorative couples retreat or a fitness-focused stay that incorporates sporting activities.
The Spa Sanctuary Villa accommodations are crafted to deliver a private, immersive wellness stay. Villas include dedicated spa areas with two treatment beds for tandem massages, separate lounges and sleeping areas, secluded outdoor spaces and a private pool. These features enable guests to receive treatments in the privacy and comfort of their own villa.
Daily programming begins with a Morning Delight Treatment—options include neck and shoulder massages or Thai yoga massage—followed by an in-villa wellness breakfast offering healthy choices such as organic juices and seasonal fresh fruit. Throughout the day, therapists are available to provide additional treatments from a curated menu of 10 signature therapies, including Ayurvedic, Balinese and Lomi Lomi techniques, as well as sports therapy and classic Thai massages. Each evening concludes with Sanctuary for the Senses turn-down amenities designed to complete the restorative routine.
Beyond the two Mexican resorts, Spa Sanctuary Villas with unlimited treatments are already offered at several properties in Asia, and Banyan Tree plans to expand the offering across more of its global portfolio.
