For the first time, Celebrity Cruises revealed details about its new ship, Celebrity Ascent, which will debut this November as the fourth vessel in the line’s Edge Series. The ship will depart from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale for Caribbean sailings from December 2023 through April 2024, and will then move to Europe for Mediterranean itineraries.

Guests will find many beloved Edge Series features on Ascent, including The Theatre, The Rooftop Garden, The Spa, Resort Deck, The Sunset Bar designed by Nate Berkus, The Magic Carpet, the three-story Eden Bar and Restaurant, The Grand Plaza and Martini Bar, alongside updated and contemporary staterooms and suites.

New offerings on board expand dining, entertainment and retail options. Notable additions include chef Daniel Boulud’s second restaurant at sea, the redesigned Le Voyage; a plant-based tasting menu in Eden; the innovative Le Petit Chef dining experience; expanded bourbon selections and tastings at Craft Social; an enhanced martini program at the Martini Bar; a refreshed main dining room experience; and an outdoor terrace at Blu reserved for guests seeking a tranquil dining option.
Entertainment and onboard amenities have been updated as well. Travelers can expect nightly performances and brand-new production shows, a redesigned casino featuring additional games, a refreshed art gallery space and a curated retail collection, The Sunset Collection by Nate Berkus, offering travel and home accessories exclusive to the ship.
