Norwegian Reward Teams Up with Airport Parking Service for Member Perks

Norwegian Air has announced a new loyalty partnership with Airport Parking and Hotels (APH) across the United Kingdom, allowing members of the Norwegian Reward program to earn CashPoints when they book airport parking.

Members can earn up to 18 percent in CashPoints when reserving parking at 26 major airport car parks across the UK. The top 18 percent rate applies to APH-owned or APH-branded facilities at Gatwick (LGW), Heathrow (LHR), Manchester (MAN), Birmingham (BHX), Stansted (STN), Luton (LTN) and Edinburgh (EDI).

According to Norwegian, an average nine-day stay at Gatwick for a family of four can generate about 85 CashPoints, which may be enough to redeem for a free seat reservation on certain routes. Travelers can pre-book and save on airport parking, earning 18 percent CashPoints at the seven APH-owned or -branded car parks and 13 percent CashPoints at APH partner car parks.

CashPoints function as currency within the Norwegian Reward program and may be used as full or partial payment for Norwegian flights and ancillary services such as checked baggage and seat reservations. Parking options range from economically priced off-airport locations to on-airport convenience and premium meet-and-greet services.

This parking partnership follows Norwegian’s recent points-earning agreement with Lounge Pass, under which members earn CashPoints equivalent to 8 percent of the lounge visit value.
