Tony Whitton, owner and managing director of Ahura Resorts, said the company is committing a significant investment of FJD$10 million to elevate Likuliku’s offerings. “We are investing the significant sum of FJD$10M in order to enhance and elevate the product offerings and guest experiences of Likuliku – the results of which will solidify our existing reputation as one of Fiji’s iconic and renowned luxury resorts,” Whitton said. He added that the company remains optimistic about the future of Fiji’s tourism sector and committed to delivering world‑class experiences to international visitors.
The renovations emphasize both guest experience and sustainability, combining upgraded accommodation features and dining with ongoing conservation work through the na Vanua hub. During the closure period, the resort will complete construction and refurbishment work to ensure that reopening brings refreshed facilities and renewed commitment to environmental stewardship.
Guests with existing reservations are advised to contact Ahura Resorts directly for assistance with rebooking options or refunds, and the resort will provide updates as the renovation schedule progresses.
