Hyatt Regency Hangzhou has reopened as the Grand Hyatt Hangzhou on Dec. 18, following an 18-month renovation and rebranding.
The hotel now features nearly 400 guestrooms and suites, many offering views of the lake and city skyline. Guests staying in club-level accommodations can access the Grand Club Lounge, which provides complimentary breakfast, all-day refreshments, and evening cocktails with canapés. Club privileges also include use of a spacious outdoor roof terrace that overlooks the West Lake Musical Fountain.
“We are excited to bring the Grand Hyatt brand to both locals and visitors in Hangzhou,” said Nicholas Lacey, general manager of Grand Hyatt Hangzhou. “With this exceptional location beside West Lake and the extensive renovations we’ve completed, we aim to become the city’s top destination for business and leisure travelers, as well as a memorable setting for life’s special occasions.”
Dining options on the property total seven venues. The renovated Grand Café and Pastry Boutique now shares space with Patio, a new casual indoor-outdoor restaurant offering views of West Lake. Grand Hyatt Steakhouse is scheduled to open early next year, alongside The Antique Door, an Art Deco–styled cocktail lounge.
The HUAN Spa and Fitness Center will also debut next year. Facilities will include a heated indoor pool under a skylight ceiling, a poolside bar, and scenic lake views, enhancing the hotel’s wellness and leisure offerings.
