Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has announced a commitment to invest more than $200 million in renovating 13 Le Méridien hotels and resorts across the Middle East and Africa over the next three years. These upgrades aim to refresh guest rooms, public areas and meeting facilities to elevate the brand’s presence and consistency throughout the region.

Properties that have completed renovations or are currently being refurbished include:

  • Le Méridien Dubai
  • Le Méridien Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt
  • Le Méridien Pyramids Hotel & Spa, Cairo, Egypt
  • Le Méridien Ile Maurice, Pointe Aux Piments, Mauritius
  • Le Méridien Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

In addition to revitalizing existing hotels, Le Méridien will expand its footprint in Egypt with a new property. This multi-million dollar renovation program reflects a broader strategy to strengthen Le Méridien’s appeal to leisure and business guests by modernizing design, enhancing comfort and improving event and dining facilities. By investing in key urban and resort locations across the Middle East and Africa, the brand aims to deliver a consistent, elevated experience that meets contemporary traveler expectations while preserving the local character of each property.
